EU / UK — GDPR and ePrivacy (PECR)

• Document a legitimate interests assessment before emailing.
• Some countries require prior consent even for business emails — check local rules.
• Give an easy opt-out in your first message and stop immediately when asked.

United States — CAN-SPAM

• No false or misleading headers or subject lines.
• Identify the message as an advertisement where applicable.
• Include your valid physical postal address.
• Provide a clear unsubscribe method and process opt-outs within 10 business days.
