Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This policy explains how Nexbyte ("we") handles personal data in Nexbyte. Contact: info@nexbyte.tech, [Street address, City, State, Country].
1. Data we collect
Account holders
- Email address and password (stored as a secure hash) — needed to create and secure your account.
- Leads and lists you save, plus verification results you request.
- Technical sign-in data (session token in your browser storage, server logs with IP address and timestamps).
People who appear in search results
Search results show business contact details (name, job title, work email, confidence score, number of public sources) that our provider Snov.io has found on publicly available web pages. We don't store search results unless an account holder saves a lead.
People who contact us or request removal
Name, email, optional company domain and message content you submit.
2. Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To provide the service you signed up for — performance of a contract.
- To show publicly listed business contacts for B2B outreach — legitimate interests, balanced by your right to object and our removal process.
- To answer messages and process removal requests — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
3. How long we keep it
- Account data and saved leads: until you delete them or close your account.
- Removal requests: kept for 3 years as proof of compliance; the suppressed email is kept as long as needed to keep it out of results.
- Contact messages: up to 2 years.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
4. Third-party processors
- Snov.io (Snov.io) — supplies search and email verification results. The search query and the email being verified are sent to Snov.io.
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication, via Lovable Cloud.
- Lovable — hosts the application.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces; your browser requests font files from Google's servers.
Some processors may handle data outside Nigeria or the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
5. Your rights
Under the NDPR/NDPA (Nigeria), GDPR (EU/UK) and similar laws you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, and to receive a copy. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.
6. How to request deletion
- If you appear in results: use the data removal form.
- Account holders: delete lists from the Saved lists page, or email info@nexbyte.tech to close your account and erase its data.
We respond within 30 days.
